Emberfall Saga is the rare mobile RPG that respects your time without feeling hollow. Battles are turn-based and quick, and the party of four each have distinct skill trees that genuinely change how you play. I built my healer into a half-damage hybrid and the game let me get away with it.
The story is told in short, readable chunks between dungeons, which suits phone play. There's no grind wall halfway through forcing you to stop. Exploration happens on a stylised node map, and side quests are optional but usually worth doing for the character banter.
If I had one complaint it's that the late game leans a little hard on one strategy. Still, for a small studio this is an impressive amount of polish.
